Will dropping 1 comm.college cl negatively affect my financial aid for fall?
The financial aid office at your school is required by federal law to monitor your academic progress. They set a minimum GPA that you must maintain, and you must successfully complete a certain percentage of your attempted academic course work. If you fall below either or both of the school's minimum standards then the aid office can deny you financial aid for future terms. Since the standards vary from school to school, you will need to determine if dropping the cl will put you below the minimums. You can do this by reviewing the guidelines printed in your college catalog, or by meeting with a counselor in the financial aid office.
