Would he just say yes to appease me?

I asked him if he wanted to go to lunch with me after him being mad at me for a long time. I asked him for next week and he thought next week was kinda funny since we are at the beginning of the week. But i goofed cuz i was nervous and he said okay. Would he just yes to appease me and didn't want to be bothered or would he just say no.
