Rutgers, is it "highly competitive"?

I have to start coursing, and I have a few ideas for college, but for the meeting in two weeks, you need to know what college you want. Then, there's a whole list of courses you need to take to be admitted. I'm smart, but I'm no genuis, so I'm going for just competitive colleges, but I'm not sure if Rutgers is or not. I thought it'd be a good idea, but then some of my friends started saying "Oh, you'd never be admitted!" so now I'm kinda like on the fence now. Oh, and is UCLA and Georgetown competitive?
