Liquid secreting from sun burn?

I got a sunburn yesterday on my nose and it began to blister. It began secreting a seeming endless supply of a mystery liquid. What is this liquid coming from my sunburnt nose? And how do you recommend I "patch-up" my nose after the sunburnt top layer of skin on my nose was peeled away to reveal the new skin below?
