You are an yst isting a panel of officials who must decide how to best protect the local water supply. Options range from building a water filtration plant to purchasing and protecting land within the watershed. Describe how you might incorporate valuation of ecosystem goods and services into your ysis. What studies would you seek out? Using examples, explain how ecosystem valuation might either inform or confound your ysis.
