Seroquel??

Just wondering what experience you've had with it. It's an antipsychotic but they're using it as a mood stabilizer for bipolar disorder. if you are using it, I'd like to know what you think about it. I take 600 mgs at night to sleep along with Sonata (20 mgs). I can also use it during the day when I get really anxious but I don't like the "Duh" feeling I get from it. I'm also on Abilfy and lamictal for the same purpose...to chill out. It does get me into a 'stooper' but my moods have been pretty stable for quite a long time now. My doc put me on buspar as well but we stopped that and it made no difference in how i felt. He won't rx any benzo's so I'm wondering what to do....he wants me to go off the abilify and see what happens cuz he thinks i'm over-medicated. Any thoughts about this? I think I'd like to just stay as things are cuz if I take away one med, I don't know what will happen. Relapse perhaps? Any serious answers are very appreciated in this matter....thanks!
