What are your views on asylum seekers?

I am asking because I seen my grandparents the other day and there views were foul! They believe they are taking our jobs and causing crime (which in my opinion is a load of rubbish). I printed out some information about asylum seekers to educate them, but they wouldn't even read it! Fair enough there views are down to lack of education and bias in the media but not even wanting to understand or to see the whole picture!! Its like they want to blame them for the countrys problems and don't want to be told otherwise, old people!!
