i was born in the 80s. the most popular movies were the ones that molly ringwald played in. as a kid and a teenager, no one with the same names as those characters were ever compared. i think of greys anatomy when i think of izzy anyway. she mentioned izzy once in twilight in reference to not liking being called that. don't worry. people will not make the connection a few years from now.
